Improved ergonomics

Many laboratory professionals experience work-related problems with arms and shoulders when inhibitions zones on AST-plates are read manually with a ruler or calliper. IRIS-100 has been developed as an alternative to the routine manual reading of zones and improves the ergonomics in the daily work.

With many analyses to be carried out every day, IRIS-100 can both ensure ergonomic gentle workflow and high-quality standard and at the same time optimize cost per analysis, which will make a difference to the running costs of the laboratory

Manual measuring will induce load to both arms and shoulders and not least the eyes and tension in the head. When measuring over a longer period the concentration decreased and the risk of errors arise.

The user interface for IRIS-100 is designed so that mouse or shortcut keys can be used, a touch screen can be used if desired.
